It is advisable to take other means of identification (preferably with a photograph).

Passports should be kept in a safe place and a photocopy should be carried with you for
identification purposes.
Report any theft as soon as possible to the local police and obtain a statement about the loss.
This will be required in order to make an insurance claim.
For loss of currency or credit cards, contact your bank at home about transferring funds and cancelling the
cards. For loss of Travellers Cheques, contact the issuing agent.
Travel delays and expensive excess charges can be avoided if you stay within the permitted limits. For
hand luggage, airlines usually accept 1 piece weighing approx 5kgs. This can vary from airline to airline,
depending on the flight load, route and available space in the cabin.
For baggage going into the hold, airlines work on either a piece or weight allowance,
depending on the class of travel and destination.
As a general rule, most airlines operate the following baggage allowance limits:
- First Class Air Travel : Either 40kgs or 2 pieces
- Club / Business Class Air Travel : Either 30kgs or 2 pieces
- Economy / Coach Class Air Travel : Either 23kgs or 1 piece
60cm (24ins) high by 75cm (30ins) wide by 100cm (40ins) long.
For anything over this limit, it is recommended that baggage is shipped via cargo, as many of the airport baggage handling systems will be unable to carry these items and will require special handling. Label each bag on the inside with your name and full destination address, and on the outside with your name and destination city. Remove old labels from previous trips. Straps and handles should be taped to the bag and not allowed to hang loose.
Avoid putting medication, valuables or important documents into baggage going into the hold.
In the event that you require further assistance or have specialised baggage needs, please contact one of the Movin' Music team.
